Day 1 – Arrival in Lima
Arrive at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring the Miraflores district or relaxing after your flight. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, tasting traditional dishes like ceviche, lomo saltado, and Peruvian pisco cocktails.
Day 2 – Lima City Tour and Cultural Experience
After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour of Lima. Visit the historic center, including the Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, and Cathedral. Explore San Francisco Monastery and its famous catacombs. In the afternoon, visit local markets and sample street foods or Peruvian coffee. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Flight to Cusco, City Orientation
Take an early flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the morning acclimatizing to the high altitude. Day 4 – Sacred Valley Exploration
After breakfast, journey into the Sacred Valley. Visit Pisac Market and the ancient Pisac ruins perched on a hilltop, then continue to Ollantaytambo, a remarkable Inca fortress and town. Learn about Inca architecture, terraces, and irrigation systems from your guide. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the valley. Check into a lodge in the Sacred Valley and relax for the evening.
Day 5 – Train to Machu Picchu
Take a morning train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, take a bus up to Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the citadel, including the Sun Gate, Temple of the Sun, and Intihuatana stone. Learn the history, culture, and engineering marvels of the Inca civilization. Optional hikes to viewpoints for panoramic photos. Return by train to Ollantaytambo and back to your lodge in the Sacred Valley.
Day 6 – Free Day in Cusco or Optional Excursions
After breakfast, return to Cusco. Enjoy a free day for optional activities such as visiting Sacsayhuamán fortress, exploring local museums, or shopping for handmade crafts. Dinner at a traditional Cusco restaurant concludes the day.
Day 7 – Departure from Cusco
