Day 1 – Arrival on São Miguel Island
Arrive at João Paulo II Airport in Ponta Delgada and meet your local guide. Transfer to your eco-lodge or boutique hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the nearby town. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring local Azorean specialties such as fresh seafood, cheeses, and tropical fruits.
Day 2 – Sete Cidades Hike and Lakes Exploration
After breakfast, embark on a guided hike around Sete Cidades, one of the Azores’ most famous volcanic craters. Walk along trails overlooking the Blue and Green Lakes, surrounded by lush vegetation and panoramic views. Learn about the region’s volcanic history from your guide.
